Gwen & Jae
As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing some truly unforgettable moments over the years. But this recent elopement was one for the books, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
The day began with a truly emotional first look, as Gwen donned her mum's wedding dress and revealed to Jae that she was pregnant. It was a moment that I will never forget, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The love and joy that these two shared was truly special, and I feel honoured to have been able to capture it.
From there, we made our way to the Californian Redwood Forest for the ceremony. Surrounded by towering trees and the peacefulness of nature, the couple exchanged their vows in a natural cathedral with only a handful of friends present to witness the moment. The portrait session that followed was absolutely stunning, thanks to the incredible light and the breathtaking surroundings. We took a little hike to a hidden waterfall for some extra-special shots. After a day filled with romantic moments and beautiful locations, the couple enjoyed a private and incredibly styled dinner back at Hideaway Cottage. And to add to the ambience, they were serenaded by acoustic music as they dined. Overall, it was a truly magical day, and I am so glad to have been a part of it. I hope these photographs will help the couple to relive and cherish these memories for years to come.
